WELCOME TO Prof. Han's Home
Han, Joo-Hwan teaches materials engineering at Yeungnam University, and his main research area is powder processing of ceramic materials, especially the production of spherical or hollow granules using low viscosity and high concentration suspensions, and the sintering of powder molded bodies using them.
Recently, he has been conducting research on the production of thermal fillers made of ceramic, metal, or non-metallic (graphite) materials, and thermal interface materials (TIM) (thermal adhesives, thermal gap fillers) using them. Computer simulation such as DEM(Discrete Element Method) for particle packing & FEM(Finite Element Method) for thermal analysis of the TIM is another hot research area.
